Ava Sunday Farmers Market
Who we are
We are a group of local farmers and artisans plying our wares. We have various backgrounds. We have vendors from all different walks of life. Our desire is to build a small family friendly community, focused on fostering local small business growth and unity in the community. We are dedicated solely to locally produced products.
About the Organizers
We are David and Maria Herrera.
We started selling at the Sunday market mid season in 2023. Around mid season 2024, we stepped in to help manage the market. We have many years experience running small/medium sized businesses and decided to devote the time to applying our business experience to helping the market run smoothly. We see this as an opportunity to give back to the community. We are focused on keeping the vendor fees low, so even small vendors can test the waters and get the experience of running their business in a safe space.
Since we moved here in 2017 we have made many friends in different walks of life. We hope to grow a community where people who may not have the same faith can come together with the shared goal of bettering our local community.
